About the Game
Mollycoddle Mayhem is a couch co-op game for up to four players. Play by yourself or work as a team, you and your fellow guardians must cook, clean, and perform various babysitting tasks. Don't wait too long to change those diapers or the babies will get upset!Babies have been left abandoned at the doorstep and it's up to you and your friends to be their caretakers. Players will seek out different houses, venues and encounter wacky scenarios to find a suitable home for the little ones.
Ghost Blanket
Allows players to walk through walls and each other! Useful for taking shortcuts and spooking others. Legends say it also allows players to walk on water...
Coffee
Single origin? Organic? Who cares. Players need all the energy they can muster to pamper the little ones. Allows players to quickly boost across the map (and small gaps).Pro tip: Try dropping an item right before using the coffee boost!
Magnets
Players far away can pick up any items off the floor or counter using magnets. The item doesn't even have to be magnetic! It's amazing how magnetic technologies have evolved over the years! What do you mean that's not how magnets work???
Magic Wand
The ultimate supreme powerup. Allows players to transform any item in front of them to whatever the babies desire. Now if we can find a version for adults...
Game Released! July 14th 2022
I have finally released the game! It's been a wild ride and I learned a lot about game development, and myself as a person. It's hard to describe the challenges of an indie developer, especially for people who have never self-published before.Right now, I don't have any plans to add any new features. History:
Inspired by couch co-op games such as Overcooked, Mollycoddle Mayhem was created over a period of 4.5 years by a solo developer - Robert Shum. This is his first published title on Steam. Typing in 3rd person is strange.
Features:
Hours of gameplay split between 10 unique worlds (30 levels in total).
Unlock 4 different powerups such as the Ghost Blanket and 'The Magic Wand'.
Dress up babies with unlockable cosmetics. That's right, babies with bear bonnets.
